Is he just a dog?

Cane con cappotto impermeabile oro durante una passeggiata all’aperto

If someone had told me twenty years ago to buy a coat for my dog, I would probably have smiled politely… hoping my thoughts weren't appearing in a thought bubble above my head.

Let's face it: twenty years ago, that was normal.
Dogs ate scraps, lived outdoors, and no one would have worried about what was really suitable for them.

Meanwhile, everything has changed.
Technology, habits, ways of life.

Yet, on some things, we seem to have stood still.

Even today, when I walk my dog wearing a coat, I sometimes hear comments like:
"He's a dog, not a person."

And this is where the misunderstanding arises.

It's not about "humanizing" a dog.
It's not about fashion for its own sake.

It's about understanding.

Understanding when a garment is really needed.
Understanding how to choose materials and fit.
Understanding what is suitable for that individual dog, at that precise moment.

Because choosing doesn't mean buying more.
It means choosing better.

And it all starts here.
