PRODUCT SPECIFICATIONS
Outer coat: 100% Harris Tweed® wool
Lining: 100% Cotton
Product features: there are two rows of easy-to-use snap buttons down the front allowing for a more comfortable fit. There are no sleeves on the coat to allow your dog to walk and run naturally without constraints. The coat has been designed “on dogs” to suit their shape and the armhole is cut slightly larger for proper leg movement, making it also easy to put on and take off.
The outer coat is n 100% Harris Tweed® wool, imported from an authorised dealer in Scotland. Wool is a natural fabric that keeps you warm and maintains body heat, it is hypoallergenic, mildew resistant and perfect for all pets. However, since when in contact with the fur of some dogs like Poodles, Maltese, Yorkshire Terriers and other long- haired dogs, it is likely to matt or knot your pet’s fur. For this reason, the inner lining is in 100% cotton, in a unique, colourful paisley pattern designed by us. Cotton is a natural fabric which is soft and breathable making it perfect for every type of dog coat. There is a martingale on the back for decoration.
This coat does not have the slit on the back for the harness.
Fabrics and accessories: inner lining cotton and buttons from Italy; outer wool from Scotland.
Fun Fact: Harris Tweed® wool is one of the most sought-after wool textiles in the world and it comes from the Outer Hebrides of Scotland so we obviously named our product in honour of this island! It’s a natural product that can only be handwoven by the local islanders of the Outer Hebrides of Scotland – anything else is not original!
This wool was originally used by farmers to protect themselves from the harsh weather conditions of Scotland and it soon became so popular that it was used as a form of payment and much later it sparked the Harris Tweed Act of 1993 and today it is a symbol of quality, class and style.
