Description
Cold weather often requires protective clothing, yet many winter coats feel bulky or disrupt a dog’s natural movement. This brocade dog coat is designed to offer reliable warmth while maintaining a balanced, comfortable fit.
The outer layer is crafted from textured brocade fabric with woven, embossed patterns that give the coat its distinctive character while remaining durable and resistant to moisture. Inside, a soft bouclé lining provides insulation while helping reduce friction on the coat — particularly helpful for longer or delicate fur prone to tangling. Unlike many mass-produced garments, the construction is designed around the dog’s natural body shape, with wider arm openings and a sleeve-free cut that allows free movement. A discreet harness opening ensures leash attachment without shifting the garment, while snap buttons along the front support a secure, adjustable fit.
Result: dependable warmth, comfortable movement, and a coat that remains stable throughout winter walks.

Textile Heritage
Brocade comes from the Italian word Broccato which literally means “embossed cloth”. It is believed to originate from the Ancient Far East (oriente in Italian, hence the name of our coat). The seamstresses would hand-embroider patterns on precious textiles to create works of art. These garments were used exclusively by royal families because of their high cost. They were also considered a symbol of luxury and royalty.
PRODUCT CARE

To retain shape and quality, we recommend professional dry-cleaning at a low temperature. However, you can also wash this coat at home by hand in cold water using a natural detergent. Do not soak. Rinse well and wring gently. Dry flat in the shade. Do not tumble dry.
HOW TO TAKE YOUR DOG’S MEASUREMENTS
A = Back length
B = Chest circumference
C = Neck circumference
Place your dog in a standing position (see diagram).
Use a soft measuring tape.
Back length (A)
Measure from the shoulder blades (just below the neck) to the point where the tail begins.
Chest circumference (B)
Measure around the widest part of the chest, just behind the front legs, passing around the rib cage until the tape meets the starting point.
Neck circumference (C)
Measure around the base of the neck, where a collar would normally sit, bringing the tape around until it meets the starting point.
