Soft and warm jacket for dogs in corduroy fabric designed for everyday living. Whether you’re going to the park to meet your fur-friends or shop with the pawrents, this jacket will dress you for any occasion! The outer corduroy shell is in 100% PL which is a durable and moisture-resistant fabric that retains its shape, dries quickly and most importantly, keeps your warm. The inner lining is in 100% PL faux fur.  There is a Mexican Skull patch – symbol of new life.

Product features

There are two rows of easy-to-use snap buttons down the front allowing for a more comfortable fit. The coat is sleeveless to allow your dog to walk and run naturally without constraints.We designed it specifically for dogs to suit their shape, cutting the armhole slightly larger to allow proper leg movement, which also makes it easy to put on and take off. Snap buttons attach the hoodie, allowing for easy removal.

The Inner lining is in 100% PL faux fur – a fabric which is warm, soft and durable.

The outer corduroy fabric is 100% PL making it durable and resistant to shrinkage, easy to wash and dry. It also keeps you warm thanks to the tight-weaving of the fabric and it doesn’t absorb moisture.

For those who use harnesses for their pets, you’ll find an almost invisible slit for the harness to fit through comfortably. If your pet wears a collar, you can close this slit with the internal flap and you won’t see anything from the outside.

This fabric is purposely created to fade over time to create a natural vintage look.

Fun Fact

Corduroy comes from the French words “Cord du Roi” (cord for Kings) and its origins seem to be claimed by many. However, textile experts believe that this fabric dates back to around 200AD in a town called Fustat (Egypt) located close to the river Nile. Corduroy was originally weaved with wool and linen which created a course, ribbed pattern as we know it today. In the modern world, this textile was first introduced by Levi Strauss in 1901 and became very popular in the 70s and an item in corduroy is a must in today’s fashion world.

PRODUCT CARE

To retain shape and quality, we recommend professional dry-cleaning at low temperatures. However, you can also wash this coat at home by hand in cold water using a natural detergent. Do not soak. Rinse well and wring gently. Lie flat to dry. Do not tumble dry.

HOW TO MEASURE YOUR DOG

A = Back length

B = Chest circumference

C = Neck circumference

• Put your pet in a standing position (see diagram);
• Take a seamstress measuring tape;
• Measure the length of back (A) from the shoulder blades, (slightly below the neck/nape of the neck) to just before the tail;
• Next the chest circumference (B): measure from just below the shoulder blades, and go right round to reach the other side to meet the starting position. This is just above the rib-cage.
• Finally the neck circumference (C): start measure from the base of the neck (nape) and go right round to reach the other side to meet the starting position.
