With summer on our doorstep it is time to start planning for our summer vacation! Deciding where to go as a pet is always difficult because before booking my pawrents always have to make several phone calls to see if I’m allowed to stay – how rude of those that don’t accept pets!

Anyway, I have some fabulous news! We were so lucky to have discovered a magnificent Pet Hotel close to the beach and, oh my dear furiends, is this just the hotel for you! It has everything you could ever want in a hotel! I was a little embarrassed by my daughter Stella, who kept helping herself to the doggy biscuits that are complimentary for all pets, but they were certainly delicious!

Our room faced the beach and it was wonderful to wake up to a lovely sea breeze as I sat on the balcony, and our room was so spacious and comfortable and decorated in bright, friendly colours. Both Stella and I are jumpers so getting on the bed was easy but for those pups who need a hand, they have a little step available too.

Amongst the many things, here’s what you can find at Hotel Principe for Pets:

  • A menu with a choice of meat, fish and fresh seasonal vegetables, in a perfectly balanced meal;
  • A breakfast buffet with biscuits, infusions and special treats;
  • Cargo bike to go sightseeing with the pawrents (this is so cool because while you enjoy the view they have to pedal!);
  • Camera for your room if you decide that you want to nap while the pawrents go out so they can spy on you (go figure, they’re always so anxious, but I think my pawrents just worry about what Stella might get up to…);
  • Vet emergency kit and a vet available 24/7 for emergencies;
  •  Professional dog sitters;
  • Qualified dog educator consultancy service;
  • Access to a fully-equipped dog beach with sun beds, and play area (I had so much fun here!);
  • Access to a 2000 sq.m dog park just walking distance from the hotel.

Giulia (the owner) and Pumay (the real owner) and the rest of the wonderful staff will be there to welcome you!

Oh, I almost forgot – don’t forget to bring your pawrents too because we pets do not abandon humans just to go on holiday!

Lots of woofs, DIXY
